Privacy policy

We collect your name and email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and your preferred language. We keep a record of your bookings, class history, ticket books, video rentals, coupon use, and your payments (the amount, method, and date, but never your card number). We note whether you have asked to receive our newsletter, your LINE identifier if you connect it, and basic technical information about your visit (the pages you view, your device and browser, and an approximate location) collected through cookies and Google Analytics.

We use your information to run your account and manage your bookings, tickets, and rentals; to take payment and keep an accurate record of it; to send you booking confirmations, class reminders, and messages about your booking; to send you our newsletter only if you have asked for it; to understand how the site is used so we can improve it; and to meet our accounting and legal obligations.

We use two kinds of cookies. One keeps you signed in while you use the site, and the site does not work without it. The others belong to Google Analytics, which helps us understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, on what kind of device, and roughly where from. Google Analytics does not store your IP address, and we do not use it for advertising.

You can turn cookies off in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and the site will still work.

Payments are handled by Square. Your card details are sent directly to Square and are never stored on our systems. We keep only the amount, method, and date of each payment.

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services that run the studio's site and operations: Square (payments), LY Corporation (LINE messages, if you connect your LINE account), Google Analytics (site usage), Amazon Web Services (email delivery), and Cloudflare (site hosting and video). Some of these process data on servers outside Japan, including the United States. We only use providers that maintain appropriate security standards.

Emails about your bookings (confirmations, reminders, refunds) are part of the service. Our newsletter is separate and opt-in: you confirm it by email when you sign up, and every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link you can use at any time.

We keep your account and booking records for as long as you have an account with us, and after that only as long as accounting and legal rules require. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

We protect your information with encryption in transit, limited access, and reputable providers. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care.

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop using it or to stop messaging you. Email us at info@migiwayogaspace.com and we will take care of it.

Our services are intended for adults. If a minor uses them, we ask that a parent or guardian do so on their behalf.
